Auf das neue Album von Orlando Julius, das er zusammen mit den Heliocentrics aufgenommen hat, war ich ziemlich gespannt. Das erste Album von ihm das international veröffentlicht wird und das erste nach gefühlten 30 Jahren. Die Zusammenarbeit mit den Heliocemtrics versprach außerdem ziemlich spannend zu werden. Nun liegt das Ergebnis vor und die hohen Erwartungen sind absolut erfüllt worden! Die Platte der Woche bei Soul Unlimited.
Außerdem in dieser Sendung: Neues von den Shaolin Afronauts, wiederveröffentlichte Alben von Keybord und Pierre Antoine, sowie eine höchst interessante Compilation auf Analog Africa, die sich dem Schaffen des Mestre Cupijo widmet. Viel Spaß beim Anhören!
