Die Platte der Woche kommt von El Michels Affair, ihr neues Album „Yeti Season“ ist sehr abwechslungsreich und vielschichtig. Diese Band ist wirklich außerordentlich kreativ und erfindet sich immer wieder neu. Eine famose Scheibe! Außerdem dabei: Neuen Alben von Invisible Session, The Afro Soul Prophecy und Whatitdo Archive Group, die allesamt hörenswert sind. Das großartige Debüt-Album „Aspects“ von Gilles Peterson und Jean-Paul „Bluey“ Maunick’s neuem Projekt STR4TA ist ebenfalls ein Schwerpunkt-Thema und hat mich zu einem kleinem Brit-Funk Mix-Set zum Abschluss inspiriert.
