Interessante Platten kommen diese Woche von Ubiquity Records: Underground Soul vom Feinsten liefert Georgia Anne Muldrow mit ihrem ersten Album „Kings Ballad“ für Ubiquity Records.
Etwas exotischer klingt dagegen die Musik von Bei Bei und Shawn Lee. Dies liegt vor allem an dem ungewöhnlichen Instrument das Bei Bei spielt. Die Guzheng ist ein chinesisches Saiten-Instrument mit einem einzigartigen Klang. Zu Hören auf dem Debüt-Alum „Into The Wind“.
Jazzman Records haben in ihrer Holy Grail – Reihe erneut ein superrares Album wieder veröffentlicht: Music Of My Heart von John Heartsman and Circles.
Im April wird das neue Album von Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings erscheinen. In dieser Sendung könnt schon mal den Titel-Song “ I Learned The Hard Way“ anhören.
In der zweiten Stunde habe ich ein Mix quer durch den 7″-Singles Katalog des kleinen aber feinen Münchner Labels Tramp Records gemacht.
