Das 1983 erschienene erste Solo-Album von Nile Rodgers gibt das Motto für diese Sendung vor: Adventures in The Land Of The Good Groove. Es ist an der Zeit dieses hervorragende Album wieder zu entdecken. Es war zwar kommerziell nicht sonderlich erfolgreich, aber es war musikalisch richtungsweisend und enthält eine Reihe toller Stücke wie zum Beispiel „It’s All In Your Hands“ und das Titelstück. Top! John Morales ist ein legendärer Remixer und seine epischen Mixe von Teena Maries Stücken sind wunderbar. Mehr Disco und Boogie Soounds gibt es auf zwei weiteren Compilations: Eccentric Disco die bei Numero Records erschienen ist, sollte man nicht verpassen. Das Berliner Label Black Pearl Records hat ebenfalls eine spannende Compilation am Start: Disco De:Light. Das Titelstück ist eine Wahnsinns-Nummer von Mudegg, einem Projekt der Labelmacher Tom Sky und Rosko Kretschmann. Viel Spaß beim Anhören!
