Später als üblich, jedoch noch nicht zu spät: Die Playlist zur letzten Sendung. In der ersten Stunde gibt es wieder einige neue Alben vorzustellen. Das Debut von Stee Downes beim Sonar Kollektiv bringt angenehm soulige Grooves mit Pop-Appeal. Ein durchaus gelungenes Debut, auch wenn eine Cover-Version eines Rare-Groove – Klassikers wie „What’s Wrong With Groovin'“ doch etwas zu gewagt ist und Stee Downes die Qualität des großartigen Orginals nicht erreichen kann.
Ein interessantes Projekt ist die neue „Inspiration Information“ – Reihe auf Strut. Den Anfang machen Amp Fiddler und Sly & Robbie.
Das Album das ich in der vergangenen Woche am häufigsten gehört habe, ist das 7 Samurai Album „El Mundo Nuevo“. In dieser Soul Unlimited – Ausgabe stelle ich es ausführlich vor.
Anschliessend wieder ein Mix-Set von mir, welches mit Soul-Jazz beginnt und bei deepem Tech-House endet.
