Nachdem letzten Sonntag die Sendung kurzfristig leider ausfallen musste, habe ich am Freitag auf dem Wiederholungs-Sendeplatz eine Sonderausgabe von Soul Unlimited gesendet. Die erste Stunde gehört der afrikanischen Musik, unter anderem hört ihr ein weiteres hervorragendes Release auf dem Label Analog Africa: Eine Compilation mit Stücken des Orchestra Poly-Rhytmo de Cotonou. Außerdem gibt neues vom Soul Jazz Orchestra zu hören, die Band hat soeben ihr zweites Album „Manifesto“ veröffentlicht.
Die zweite Stunde bringt euch dann ein Mix-Set ausschließlich mit Veröffentlichungen des Labels Freestyle Records.
